ગઢડા મધ્ય-૨૮: જીવનદોરીનું, દયાળુ પ્રકૃતિનું

નિરૂપણ

ગઈકાલે મુસાફરીનો થાક (મોરિશીયસથી નૌરોબી પધારતાં), ઉપવાસનો શ્રમ અને મધરાતનો ઉજાગરો વેઠવા છતાં તા. ૧૦/૧૨/૧૯૭૪ના રોજ સ્વામીશ્રી સમયસર પરવારી ગયેલા અને જાણે કથારસથી જ પારણાં કરતા હોય તેમ સતત એંશી મિનિટ સુધી ગઢડા મધ્ય પ્રકરણના ૨૮મા વચનામૃત પર વાતો કરતાં જણાવ્યું કે:

“અનંત જન્મથી મનધાર્યું કરતાં આવ્યા છીએ. આ જન્મે ગુરુમુખી થવું તો શાંતિ મળે. ભક્તો આંગણે આવ્યા છે તો સેવા કરજો. ‘આવો શેઠ ને નાંખો વખારે’ એમ નહીં. ભક્તની સેવા મહિમાથી કરે તે ભક્તિ. અતિ રૂડું થાય તે જીવનું રૂડું થાય એ. ભગવાન સાથે ભક્તની સેવા કરવાની છે. ઘણા કહે છે કે: ‘મહારાજ સાથે ગુણાતીતની મૂર્તિ ન જોઈએ.’ હોય તોય કાઢી નાંખે. મહારાજ સાથે માણકી ઘોડીને પૂજે. લીંબડો કડવો પણ તેને પગે લાગે. પથરો માથે અથડાય તો લોહી નીકળે તોય તેને પગે લાગે. ને સંત તેવા પણ નહીં?! બધા વચનામૃત વાંચે છે પણ દીવા તળે અંધારાં જેવું થાય છે. શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજ આવ્યા ને વાત સમજાવી. આપણે બેઠા છીએ તો તે ભગવાનના અક્ષરધામમાં જ આ બેઠા છીએ. ભક્તો બેઠા છે ને મહારાજ વાત કરે છે. અક્ષરધામમાં મહારાજ સમીપે બેઠા છીએ. ભગવાનના ધામમાંથી પડે એટલે સત્સંગમાંથી પડી જાય. આવું અક્ષરધામનું સુખ છે તેમાંથી નીકળી જાય.”

Swamishri arrived in Nairobi from Mauritius yesterday. Despite the fatigue of travel and a total fast of Ekadashi, Swamishri got ready on time on December 10, 1974. Swamishri spend 80 minutes explaining Gadhada II-28, as if kathā-vārtā was his pārnā (breaking the fast):

“We have been doing what our mind wants for infinite births. In this birth, we want to do what the guru wants; then we will find peace. Devotees have come to your doorstep, so serve them. Serving devotees with mahimā is devotion. We should serve God along with his Bhakta. Some say: ‘Gunatit’s murti does not belong with Maharaj.’ If it is present, they will get it removed. Yet, they will worship Manki with Maharaj; and they will bow down to the neem tree even though it is bitter. If one is hit by a rock, it will make one bleed; yet, they will bow down to a rock (if it has some association with God). Is the Sant not like those (Manki, neem tree, rock)? Everyone reads the Vachanamrut; yet there is still darkness under the flame. Shastriji Maharaj came and explained this to us. We are sitting in Akshardham right here. Devotees are sitting here and Maharaj is speaking to us. We are sitting in Akshardham in the vicinity of Maharaj. If one falls from God’s abode, then he falls Satsang. There is the bliss of Akshardham here; yet he leaves.”

પડવાનો માર્ગ

સંજાયામાં તા. ૨૫/૧૧ની સવારે ગઢડા મધ્ય પ્રકરણના ૨૮મા વચનામૃતના આધારે ઉપાસનાનો સાર સમજાવતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ કહ્યું:

“મૂર્તિપૂજક હોય તે કોઈ પણ મૂર્તિનો અનાદર કરે જ નહીં. શંકરજીના પોઠિયાને નમીએ છીએ, પંચદેવને નમીએ છીએ, તો સ્વામિનારાયણ ભગવાનના ભક્ત મૂળ અક્ષર ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામીની મૂર્તિને કઢાય જ કેમ? જે કાઢે તેને કેવો સમજવો? નામ જીવાભાઈ હોય પણ સાપના રાફડામાં હાથ નાંખે તે મરવાનો જ છે. તેમ સત્સંગી કે સાધુ કહેવાઈએ પણ ભગવાનના ભક્તનો દ્રોહ કરીએ તો તે પડવાનો જ માર્ગ છે.”

આમ, સતત બે કલાક સુધી કથા કરીને સ્વામીશ્રીએ જ્ઞાનમાર્ગ ચોખ્ખો કરી આપ્યો.

The Path to Falling from Satsang

November 24, 1976. Sanjaya. In the morning, Pramukh Swami Maharaj explained the essence of upāsanā based on Vachanamrut Gadhada II-28:

“One who worships the murtis of God will not disrespect them. We bow to Shankar’s bull. We bow to the five deities. So then, how can we get rid of the murti of Mul Akshar Gunātitānand Swāmi, who is the devotee of Bhagwan Swaminarayan? What should we understand one who removes it to be like? One’s name is Jivābhāi (one who lives), but if he sticks his hand in a snake’s burrow, he will certainly die. Similarly, we may be a satsangi or a sadhu; but if we malign the devotee of God, then that is the path to falling from Satsang.”

Swamishri spoke for two hours and clarified the understanding of upāsanā.

૧૯૭૮/૯/૧૪. મુંબઈના રોકાણ દરમ્યાન પ્રાતઃકથામાં વચનામૃત ગઢડા મધ્ય ૨૮ સમજાવતાં પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે કહ્યું, “આપણે કોને રાજી કરવા છે તે જોવું. જેના થકી કલ્યાણ માન્યું છે તેના થકી જે વાત આવી તે માનવું. ઘણું કહેશો તો થાપો મારી દેશે પણ રાજીપો જુદી વાત છે. અનાદિની મહોર શ્રીજીમહારાજના વખતથી વાગી છે તે જોઈ જોડાઈ જવું. મેળે માવજીભાઈ થયા હોય તેનું ન માનવું...”

September 14, 1978. During his stay in Mumbai, Pramukh Swami Maharaj explained Vachanamrut Gadhada II-28 during the morning discourse, “We should know who we need to please. We should believe the words of whom we have determined would liberate us. If we ask too much from the Satpurush, he will pat us with his blessings, but earning his pleasure is a totally different matter. We should join with one who is eternally certified by Shriji Maharaj. We should not believe the words of one who becomes Māvjibhāi on their own...”
